Pennsylvania-based NeuroFlow, a behavioral health company, partnered with Georgia-based healthcare system Emory Healthcare to deliver psychiatric services.
NeuroFlow's cloud-based platform allows healthcare providers to track, assess and connect with patients between traditional office visits. The company also offers AI-driven clinical decision support with recommendations for the next steps for individual patients.
The partners will collaborate to scale Emory's collaborative care model in its integrated behavioral health program, which was formed to increase access to behavioral health services. The pair will also pilot a primary care suicide prevention program.
"While CoCM [collaborative care model] is a robust, evidence-based practice model with clear benefits for patients, it has a lot of moving parts that make it difficult to sustain and scale. We hope that leveraging innovative technologies that integrate patient data directly into our medical record system will extend our reach, afford new opportunities to interact with patients between scheduled visits and scale our clinical volume by relieving some of the administrative burdens through more efficient infrastructure," Dr. Brandon Kitay, assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and director of behavioral health integration for Emory Healthcare, said in a statement.

In 2021, NeuroFlow announced a collaboration with CirrusMD, a startup offering on-demand, text-based telehealth, where CirrusMD would leverage NeuroFlow's clinical decision support platform, patient engagement tools and intervention services.
